If you’re searching for an organic lawn care service in Memphis, TN or Olive Branch, MS, then it’s likely because you’re concerned about safety. Whether that be the safety of your family and your pets, your property, the environment, or all of the above, we commend you for your concern and your desire to be responsible.
Of course, you might also be wondering whether organic lawn care really works. After all, you don’t really want to invest your money into a program that’s going to produce subpar results. You feel as though you ought to be able to have a beautiful lawn without having to sacrifice safety as a result.
Fortunately, you don’t have to.
We’re here to fill you in on some of the secrets about organic lawn care that will help you make an educated decision about what’s best for you and your lawn.
Before we go any further, we thought it might be important to provide some context to exactly what we’re talking about. These days “organic” is a popular buzzword often thrown around and sometimes meaning different things to different people.
When you choose organic food, you know that it’s gone through a level of testing and has had to meet certain minimum qualifications in order to be labeled organic. Currently, however, no agency certifies lawn care as “organic,” meaning there is no clear and definitive explanation.
What one company might call “organic,” might be completely different for another. With that being said, what we believe most people think of as “organic lawn care” is a program that uses zero chemicals. Therefore, for the purposes of this article, when we talk about truly organic lawn care, that’s what we’re referencing.
Because of these discrepancies, you should always make an effort to determine exactly what an organic claim means. For many companies, it’s simply a marketing gimmick to rope in your business. Just a little bit of digging will often reveal that even some companies claiming to be “organic,” are still using synthetic materials——and we’re not saying that bad.
We’ll explain further why we believe a program with synthetic materials isn’t a bad thing. But the issue we have with this is when false organic claims are made in a sneaky way as if to deceive the customer about what they’re actually receiving.
We’ll be frank with this—an organic lawn care service that is truly 100-percent organic is not going to be effective. The fact of the matter is, control products are needed to get weeds under control, to address potentially destructive diseases and pests, and to provide your lawn with the nutrients it needs. Chemicals have a very important place in lawn care but when they’re used properly and applied by a professional, there should be no cause for concern about their safety.
If you choose a 100% organic program that doesn’t utilize any synthetic materials at all, we believe you’ll be sorely disappointed. You’ll invest money but won’t feel as though you’re getting anything out of it.
Of course, now you might be feeling a bit frustrated if you started this process in search of organic lawn care. You now understand that most programs aren’t completely organic and those that are, don’t work very well.
You may feel as though you still have lingering worries. After all, what you want is something that is both safe and effective. You want the best of both worlds and feel as though you shouldn’t have to choose one or the other.
With all of Master Lawn’s lawn care programs, we use safe products that are not harmful to the environment and that are safe for your family and pets as well.
However, we even go a step further than that and also offer our hybrid “Platinum” program that uses organic lawn fertilizer including bionutritional probiotic soil additives to reduce the need for pesticides. Though we believe these products can be used safely and effectively we understand that some of our customers still want to limit their use.
With this hybrid approach, we’re able to do just that.
The Platinum program is what we would call “the best of both worlds” for our customers who are looking for limited control product usage but still want a spectacular lawn. With the Platinum program you can expect 10 lawn care visits. We’ll also add core aeration to your package in order to help your lawn become thicker, naturally. This is beneficial because a thicker lawn will naturally choke out weed growth.
Of course, regardless of which program you choose, you can count on us to go above and beyond to take precautions and ensure all of our services are safe and responsible. We never apply product excessively or when it’s not warranted. We take a very customized approach to lawn care, only applying product when and where it’s needed on a case-by-case basis.
After all, we understand your concerns for being both safe and responsible but we don’t want you to feel as though you have to sacrifice great results in order to meet those goals. The best of both worlds is absolutely possible.
Do you want to be safe and responsible but still have a beautiful lawn you can be proud of? Talk to a lawn care expert, choose from 3 program options, and become the master of your lawn.
